Wow! How have I managed to miss this website? Thanks for posting Bill, very interesting to me and I'm sure a few others that like front stuffers..
I found that shooting flintlocks made me a better shot with modern arms, holding through the ignition of a flinter is essential for accuracy, I also found that getting a flintlock to function reliably was very satisfying after the initial frustration. Probably one of the reasons I do not feel outgunned hunting with a modern single barrel shotgun. I admire Nath for taking it a stage further by using his Brown Bess so successfully.
