Some of it is supposed to be coming our way on Sunday, I'm a bit too far south to see any snow.
If more men loved and cherished their wives as much as I love bacon the world would be a much better place.

snow is the best way to get moisture into the ground. it seeps into the ground when it melts as opposed to running off into gullies when it rains hard or it rains with ground rockhard after a dry spell.

Rain/snow coming in this evening. Fire danger is high here, so the moisture is welcome.

My favorite kind of snow, not too heavy, warm enough to melt off and go away without undue physical exertion on my part! :D

Snow hasn't all melted from yesterday yet.

Cloudy and 40 with a raw, gusty breeze out of the WNW here in central Maine.

They're threatening sun later with a high near 50, but we'll have to see.

It's 81 here, with high skies and cumulus starting to build over the mountains. Hoping for a thunderstorm and a good rinse, but no thank you, dry lightning, as fire danger is high.

too hot for me, I have to have the AC on before it gets there.

45 to 55 is about my perfect environment outside. then add a small fire or a touch of AC to adjust the house. or car.
so, around here, I get about 20 or so perfect days

Alaska gets some of the biggest extremes in weather of anyplace I know about. 80 there is what, about 120 degrees above their Winter low? I can avoid being out in the temperatures over 100 degrees around here most of the time. I am getting less able to take the cold after coming to room temperature last August. Last Winter was pretty mild and I still shivered. Today was in the 80s here and felt really good.
