She has a remarkable voice, to my ear very full and melodious.

While I have decades of listening to my credit as an expert, I have zero actual skills in the effort to put forth pleasant sounds of any sort.

One year .. many years ago .. we celebrated Thanksgiving by helping feed people in a homeless shelter. Jami and her mom were getting ready to sing and the Pastor asked "Does your Daddy sing?" to which Jami replied, "Yes. But you wouldn't want to hear him."

I can relate. I can't sing in the car if I have passengers because they think the engine is falling apart . . .

My singing sounds like two cats with their tails tied together and thrown over a clothesline. Would probably curdle milk, its that bad.

My singing is as bad as Dave Lister's guitar playing. https://youtu.be/J6UA-7yHO14
