Remembering Mike D.

Mike would have made 73 today if the dreaded C hadn't got him . Sadly missed by us all.
If more men loved and cherished their wives as much as I love bacon the world would be a much better place.

Cancer, referred to as Baxter by a friend who beat it twice before it got him, is a sorry lousy opportunist of the worst order. It takes far too many before they are done. A Toast to the memory of Mike D.

Losing a loved one is never easy but I think it is twice as melancholy when it happens so close to the holidays.

A prayer and loving thought for his family.
