If memory serves me, I recall a similar conversion by another company being advertised back in the late 1950's-early 1960's.
The most important aspect of this signature line is that you don't realize it doesn't say anything significant until you are just about done reading it & then it is too late to stop reading it....

My rifle came in and it was in the condition stated. They are honest about the condition.

That's why I drive down, walk in, look it over in person, and buy it if interested! No waiting & wondering, and no risks.

Mescalero had one of those .... he got me interested and i picked up one made by Israeli Military Industries .... supposedly some units, maybe civil guards used them

it is a nice little tiny little well balanced gun.... i have loaded up about 350 rounds and just played with it a little. ..... don't really have a use for it....but when has that ever stopped me or any of us :D

I remember Mescalero posting about it. It sounded like a fun little caliber. Quite a few calibers never really caught on, but that does not make them any less useful or fun.

It reminds me of the 1911's made in 22 TCM...

Classic guns in futuristic chamberings.

I wonder what the military experience with the 'M1 Carbine' would have been like if they were in the high-capacity 22 caliber chambering....not that unlike the 5.56 NATO.....

Melvin Johnson designed the .22 Spitfire, .30 carbine necked down to .224 to be used in the carbines his company converted.

Ed Johnson, son of the firearms impresario Melvin Johnson wrote.....

"Our original cartridge loads back in the '60's were 11.5 grains of #4227 powder with . 2235 40 grain bullet with #6.5 primer. We used RCBS dies to re-form M1 Carbine brass. Accuracy was usually a group of 5 shots within 5" AT 100 yards. Some shooters have done much better. "
