No, it's just that Griff is the only one who likes you!

Go to:
http://www.hodgdonreloading.com/data/rifle

Enter .30-30 as caliber and 160 gr as bullet weight. It will pull up data on the FTX and a lead 160 gr bullet.
(Some of us have to work and don't live on the interweb  )

Of course, Facebook is another matter.......

Now that's odd. Compare the RL-15 data between the 160 ftx and the 170 interlock.

I have an ancient Hornady manual.
Kind regards,
Tycer

I'm amazed that Alliant won't share with you.
That's one reason I love Western Powders and use so much AA. They readily share data that they haven't even published.

This thread is a reminder to me ( again ) to pick up a new Hornady reloading manual. My present Hornady manual is a bit dated and I'd like a new one.

I'll suggest it to my wife for my next BD.

I've got a Hornady manual, but it's out in the shop. I'm too fat and lazy to go get it until at least two cups of coffee.

Not necessarily, seating depth difference between the two could account for a LOT of difference in pressures. It ain't all about bullet weight. It appears from the drawings that the 160FTX has more bullet inside the case if one seats to the crimp groove. (And... those drawings are representative of actual difference).

For a while, that was one of the few powders that was on the shelves. I bought several pounds over a couple of years.......
