TSRA Wild Bunch 2016 Championships

Post by Griff »

Well, it's done, and scores are posted. Yours truly finished 12th overall in the State of Texas, 9th in my category. Six stages of fun with the 1911, 1897 & levergun! I just wish they'd go to 7 rounds per magazine. I'd probably slip back in the standings... but...

If there'd been more people there, I'm sure that I've have finished lower... but I had fun... shooting at the snake heads instead of the BIG part of the target... at the cowboy's hats instead of the BIG part of the silhouette, kinda slowed me down... and accounted for a couple of misses! And after getting a "P" for shooting the targets out of order on one stage, I just went ahead and emptied another magazine on 'em! Them targets are D.E.A.D.! Laughed a LOT! Made a few others grin as well! Got back more brass than I took, as another shooter doesn't reload 45ACP and gave me some of his once fired stuff!

Actually shot at least one stage clean... if a little on the slow side.

Well, I've heard that in Oklahoma South, there are only about 12 decent shooters all together.
