Don't mean to hijack this thread, but what about Ji?

I just looked on Bushcraftusa, Ji hasn't been on there in a while either. Anyone heard from him? I sent him a note over there.
"Far better it is to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs even though checkered by failure, than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy nor suffer much because they live in the gray twilight that knows neither victory nor defeat." -Theodore Roosevelt-

Isnt it amazing how many people post without reading the thread?

I would like to hear from Kirk to see if He is anywhere near where I am going to be next week. If He sees this I will be in Niagara falls 6-20 thru 6-24. I know He is in central Ontario but that is a big place.

I am glad Pitchy is OK, and I hope he comes back for a visit. I miss the posts from Kirk D and Ji. RKrodle hasn't posted much for a while, but I heard from him not too long back and he seems to be doing well.

If you set it up for only friends and family you don't get all that other stuff, unfriend people who continue to send you game requests, its not too bad

Did you guys read Kirk's bio in that link? Gee, only four college degrees. And here I thought he was smart! :)

Although I did notice no mention of firearms. I guess that was the 'love of antiques' part. :)

I keep up with my extended family on there a bit, -- plus aquaintances i havent seen in ages --- FB is cool like that , -- if i ever get a chance to run into them again in person, they will not be complete strangers

Aside from that, i like traditional discussion forums like this

I am still alive! Just had a very nice visit with Game Keeper in an old English pub in Winchester, England. I have been very busy this past winter and spring and really had to cut back on my forum posting in general. I am hoping things slow down a bit starting in July. Tomorrow, Game Keeper has lined me up with a friend of his to go Grayling fishing in a local river where they are native. Got a cole of 'new' lever guns this spring. I'll try to post some photos when I get back home in a couple weeks. The Queen of Hearts (my wife) and I are spending a couple weeks in Western England and Wales.

Our good friend KirkD and his lovely wife are great company, we only wish that their stay here in Winchester was longer.
Shirley and Mrs D got on real well and I think Kirk and I did mention old Winchesters once or twice.... :D
If more men loved and cherished their wives as much as I love bacon the world would be a much better place.

Perry, sorry to miss you when you were up in Canada. Nath, I sent you an email. Hopefully we can meet up for a pint in a local pub.

As far as face book goes it's one of those web sites that you can't see what it is like till you register. I do not register for any website till I know what it is like. So face book will go pound sand on getting me signed up! There not the only website like this, but they are the most prominent!
