Opinions on Cobra firearms

Post by wm »

I'm skeptical but an acquaintance has to do some liquidating to pay his taxes and has a pair of pistols he is offering me for sale......Cobra Patriot 45 ACP and a Cobra Shadow 38 special. The revolver is blue.....I mean it is literally blue.....like a medium blue.

Any experience or knowledge about these? He is asking $400 for the pair.

Cobra is the brand. Didn't know they made a revolver, but the Cobra Patriot .45 wasn't a bad piece for the money. Inexpensive, not going to be a Glock or anything, but a shooter.

$400 for the pair wouldn't be a bad price if they're not abused.

Cobra firearms website http://www.cobrapistols.net/

Check them out....obviously the Shadow revolver is a copy of the S&W and the Patriot is a bit like the Glock though I think it is a reincarnation of the old Republic Arms Patriot which was a copy of the South African semi auto.

Their derringers are decent enough, and the company is polite & responsive to questions & special orders. They may not be "high end" but I thnk their stuff is decent enough.
