Nice!

Post by Nath »

Someone wanted a young rabbit,,,"fine" I said.

Did I take an air gun? No.

Not the 22 either!

Nope I reached for my 357!

Loaded up some subbies in it and proceeded to miss plenty!

That was untill an uphill shot that connected, a head shot no less!

I paced it off at 179 paces.

In this next photo the rabbits front leg is kind of pointing to a telegraph pole that I was some distance behind.

That's some fine shooting

can you see your bullets hit? with all that green id think that its wet & the bullet
wouldn't kick up any dust, here if you have the time you can shoot at a mile with a 25-20
and 5 minutes later see a puff of dust

We are inundated with Cottontail rabbits.I can stand at my door and count 5-6 almost any time.
Soon the Coyotes will come back and the cycle will start all over again. :x

I need to find a good rabbit hunting spot here in southern california, long time ago used to make running head shots with my bow, thats in city limits now and haven't found a decent place since.

Great shooting Nath!
I wish we had small game here, bunnies would be fun & delicious. All we got is rats and mongoose neither of which are very appetizing.
