I went into my safe, grabbed a couple of lever guns, and snapped these. I hope you like 'em. I'm still trying to figure out how to take good digital pics of lever guns using a flash.

Here are 4 examples from my Model 94 carbine collection: (Top to bottom) 1928 SRC, 1929 2/3 mag, and 2 prewars.

My SRCs: 1928 Winchester 94 30 WCF, Browning 1886 45-70.

VERY nice 94s 'ya got there, mod71alaska. I don't currently own any 1894s, but here are a few picks of the $700. '86 I picked up last year. The 45XXX serial number indicates a circa 1890 manufacture; it has a few wood issues, but the metal is clean and the bore excellent. The upper tang is cracked at the hammer, and it's worth spending a few bucks to repair, so I'll get that done soon enough. In the meanwhile, she's a mighty fine shooter, as is.

Beautiful levers! I've already posted pics of mine, but here's a neat photo I took in Oregon, just outside of Lakeview. I snuck up on this sleeping antelope and took a few pictures:

He woke up when the flash kicked in. :D

Yes... the only thing missing is the staples in the middle of the pics!

Dang, those are beautiful guns, Vall. When's your next Redding show? I probably won't make Reno this time 'cause I'll be travelling across NV the following Thursday and can't afford the fuel for two trips over the hill. In no time we'll be forkin' over 4 bucks per gallon, so we're seriously cuttin' back on the "fun" trips.

Not my wife, she knows that when I'm lookin' at levers I'm only a credit card swipe away from sinnin'; she knows I couldn't have them women in the magazines if I was 20 again!

Here are a couple straight gripped 22's. I've got all of the problems ironed out with the Mountie, just waiting on the firing pin from Marlin. Nothing better than a 22 Marlin.

Thanks Mike! I wont be in Reno either this April! My two traveling buddies are both tied up with the conflicting car swap meet here at the Expo, plus the Oregon Knife Collector's show. All the same weekend, and I don't have anyone to travel down to Reno with.
Not sure when the next Redding show is?-Vall
