OT: Kathe -- 4-15-52 / 6-07-2010

Post by Buck Elliott »

My dear, sweet Darlin' Kat passed away this morning, about 7:30 AM, from the ravages of septicemia. She fought the good fight, right to the very end, but it was finally time for her to go...

God must have greater need of her, in HIs wisdom. She is -- and will be -- loved, and missed, and cherished, for as long as life lasts. I know that we will meet again!

How can I express my thanks and appreciation to all of you, who have given of your time, and faith, and prayers; who have shared with us your concern, both publicly and privately.... My heart is full today, but there is a huge hole in it that cannot be filled in this life.

It is good to know that we do not suffer alone; that there are those around us who will lift us up and sustain us, in our times of trial. Again -- my sincerest and deepest thanks for all that so many of you have done. May God bless you for your exercise in Faith.

I'm so very, very sorry Buck. A wise man once told me that when you die and go to Heaven, this life seams like a dimly remembered dream. If so, then Kathe's suffering is over and her soul is happy in her miraculous new home. I was also told that though our loved ones are on a different plane of existance that they can still feel our love when we meditate or pray about them long enough. Just continue to send love her way as I know you will. Prayers said for you my friend and for Kathe's family.

Something we all need to give a lot of thought to;we all will also pass on our appointed day.Are we ready if that day is today? May the Lord richly bless you in this time of loss!
