Thanks!
Along with my single shot rifles, I have an addiction to old scopes also. Nice old scopes or very rare old scopes just are amazing to me. Normally a Lyman is a great scope but not all that rare. But this one does it for me just because it's so old, and so nice with it's box.

OAC gun show find!
We had our monthly OAC collector show yesterday, and I heard a friend who has a table behind me ask another friend if he was interested in an old target scope. Of course my ears perked up, and I turned around to maybe see what I was missing out on! I couldn't see what they were looking at, but I saw...

Re: Accurizing Marlin 375
First thing you need to do is slug the bore on your Marlin 375! Without knowing the groove diameter it's impossible to know if the factory bullets fit well. After slugging the bore, pull a bullet and mic it to see how close it is. Then reassemble the cartridge without powder and seat the bullet out ...

I've never taken time away from work, or anything that made money to reload ammo. My great nephew's deer hunt
Figured I'd follow up to my previous post about coyotes taking a young buck recently. I have a calibrated wrist. Never used anything else to adjust screw tension on any of my gun screws, and think it's a waste of time.
There are machinist tables around that list every screw by diameter and thread size and will work. But why waste the energy and time?

Those are great looking, high quality 1911 style handguns! And nice to have both barrel lengths also.
All mine are full length barrels, which I love, but not the best size for a carry gun all year around. I find myself going to a compact 9mm in the hot weather as a T shirt covers them easier.
