Re: OT - Favorite target for irons
OK, I'm cheap. I go to a craft store where they sell black kraft paper on 3' wide rolls, by the foot. Buy about 10' or so, lasts forever. I cut squares out of various sizes, try to find a size about the width of the front sight for the range I'm at. Paste them on graph paper with a paste stick. Way ...

That left and far low,it shoots that way when even using a pistol bench rest? I don't have a pistol bench rest. I generally lay my forearms and wrists on a raised flat surface, with the gun supported only by my hands. I can get pretty small groups this way, always low and left. I must say, the sigh...

Yeah, I saw one in the store yesterday. I was amazed at how thin the barrel was with that big hole in it. And even more scary, they had dovetailed the front sight in the barrel, rather than putting it on the barrel band. I like the idea of a .480 but not the way they did it.

Well, bottom line for me, is that this was shooter error. If something sounds funny or doesn't recoil right, it is time to STOP. I don't think the rifle or manufacturer should take any blame. I still wish I knew the load though. If it was a warm load, then having an extra bullet to push down the bar...

This is indeed very interesting. I have a fixed sight Freedom Arms 97 which shoots VERY far low and left. I took it to the FA factory to get adjusted but it was only improved slightly. Well, instead of converting the cases you can use them as is. My experience with Titegroup is that, in the warm loads I use, it is VERY insensitive to powder position, both for velocity and impact point on the target. Uh, I don't think so. Your formula is 2R x W x W/("pi"xRxR) x V, where R is bullet radius and V is velocity. Simplifying, that is 2 (WxWxV)/("pi"xR), which gives too much importance to bullet weight, and is INVERSELY proportional to bullet diameter. I don't have much use for thes...
