Stopper,
I mean all Class 3 weapons are illegal for us subjects to own in IL.
Only LEOs, military, and manufacturers may have them.

MacEntyre, YES, you need a new gunsmith. Go and get your rifle, tell him he's had all the time he's gonna get. ALL you need is for a gunsmith to weld up, or peen the cartridge stop on the top front of the link then reshape it. http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o121/RellimJ/win94action2.jpg Look at ...

Poll - Does anyone here have only one ....
I was sitting here mulling over the fact I think I have too many guns  . Then I tried to remember the last time I had only one center fire rifle. It's been so long I'd have to check my records to find out. So just for fun, does anybody here have only one........... I've got several times more ...

Jason, The old feedthroat / ejector was a two piece affair rivited together. It was soft and prone to wear on the inside where the cartridges fed from the magazine to the chamber. It also had the bad habit of pounding the ejector stub into pulp. Marlin came up with a replacement part that consisted ...

jason, If this is a older Model 60 or one of the variants it can be returned to functioning condition for a bit of work and funds. Marlin has improved the feed and ejection system on those and they work very well now. This model was and probably is prone to problems when the actions get really dirty...

Scott, Back in the Black powder days there was cartridges such as the 38 Short Colt, 38 Long Colt. If I remember correctly, the 38 Short Colt actually used a 38 caliber heal based bullet, (think .22RF style). Then with the 38 Long Colt it became an inside lubed bullet, like the current 38 Special. B...

For cleaning .22 Lever actions here is what I recently did. My wife bought me one of them universal cleaning kits. Has rods for 17 cal, .22 and up cal, and shot guns. 1886, With a bit of refinement that should do nicely. I used to use axle shafts for targets. And anything under a 38 Special wouldn't ...
