I think the compass idea is a good one! One of my Randall knives has a compass in the butt of the handle, and a similar compass mounted in a stock sounds very intriguing.

Prayer said! My Dad survived prostate cancer a number of years ago, though being old enough for surgery to be a bad idea, he went with one of the radiation strategies. He is still energetic at almost 77 years of age.

My Browning Lightning BLR fits me perfectly, is a pleasure to shoot, and makes me looks like I am a better shot than I really am. It is chambered in .308 Winchester, so I will go with that.

We are notably cooler down here on the Texas Coastal Plain today, too. The morning low was 72, instead of the usual 78 to low 80's. Daytime high is low-to-mid 90's instead of upper 90's. Next thing you know, the dogs will grow hair again!

I was surpised to see 375 H&H being one of the choices, and just had to vote for it. I like the the 375 H&H in my Ruger No. 1 and Winchester Model 70, and would like to see how they would make that work in a lever rifle.
