This is a 1 of 1 , I attended Trinidad St Jr College Gunsmith program, 91-94. John Gallagher was a classmate of mine. The end of our 2nd year John started reworking BH & SBH into 5 shot in a proprietary cartridge, a 348 cut down using .458 bullets. During our 3rd year he and I talked about a 44 ...

Re: Heartbreak
One question keeps going through my mind, what happened to the receiver?
If it was damaged what about the barrels - I'd expect those to be damaged as well.
Or did someone decide to build a custom gun out of it?

This was put together as a scope gun, with the stock being such as it is your eye is way too high to see iron sites. Not to mention I would need to source a new stock, front and rear sites too. Now that I know it has real potential I'll make the owner an offer! Then I'll write to Cody and try to fig...

I wasn't going to bring this up but ol #7 breached the subject. Buddy of mines brother was in the Army, before he went in he bought a 67 F100 he was planning to restore after his hitch was up. It started by shooting at the mirrors from long range with 22s, that evolved into high power stuff, shotgun...

Guy I went to school with put together a very beautiful 7mag, full octagon bbl, gorgeous hunk of walnut. We were out on one of the local ranches shooting prairie dogs and here comes Kevin. Finally got the Lee factory crimp die today. Got home, watched for the end of the world- er I mean eclipse then crimped the 43 rounds I had loaded and headed for the range. So as mentioned elsewhere, this rifle is a strange thing, model 65 barrel, left side drilled & tapped( poorly!) For a side ...

Well, I have to say my 41, 4⁵/⁸. Why that particular one? Because I already own it.
I had a 7.5 SBH in 44 mag, between the squared off trigger guard and the obnoxious recoil of full house I traded for a K22. The SBH became a 22K-hornet.

Well Scott make this your backup gun
I'll have to give these 250gr cast a closer look to see if they are a Keith or not. I got a shipping tote full of bullets, supplies, brass years ago from a widow. In it was a couple hundred of these as well as a bunch of 158s for 338/357.

Kind of making me want to go shoot my Single Six Special! I have a bunch of 250 cast bullets but no Unique. I do have Universal which is just a tad slower. Though no data for it with 250s. Chickens aren't that smart to begin with as we all know, I wouldn't think a bulb going out would be enough to make her leave the nest but that her instinct alone would be enough.
But what do I know, I don't eat chicken but ill eat their kids.

I've got a PPC barrel floating around here for a mod 10, now if I could just find a donor to put it on.
Funny thing is I remember getting a model 10 and the PPC barrel but I have no idea where the revolver went... must have traded it off.

You could try shim stock, sold in various thicknesses. A drop of blue loctite between the dovetail and shim stock should hold well enough.
