I got my elk last year with a 7MM mag and handloaded 140gr TTSX. 100 yard (or so) shot in the neck and elk dropped in tracks. Bullet hole out not much bigger than bullet hole in. No fragments found in meat. Sighting in after reloading got 1 1/2 in groups (100 yd) using RL22 powder. Rifle a Ruger 77

If you have access to a 3-D scanner, you can just scan your favorite firearm and then print out a copy. Amazing.

In this neck of the wood (SW Washington) all the CENEX stations only have gas w/o ethanol.
I was recently to Minneapolis and most stations had a pump that did not have ethanol, and was 5 cents
a gal less expensive that the gas with ethanol.

Not sure who wrote the info under the pic. I am sure he is proud of that Ivory Handled Colt too, but it looks to me like he is showing off that 95 Winchester! Raised on a farm in North Dakota. Today it is one of the few states with a budget in the black. Have relatives still there. Western part of the state going through an oil boom. Some places it is hard to find a place to stay (or camp). Williston for instance.

I have fond memories of the Stampede. Last time I was there was 1958 as a member of the High School Band. We marched in the parade and had a drill routine we did in the arena. Then watch the Rodeo (favorite was the chuckwagon races) and then hit the midway. Ahh, what a time.

Well, maybe I better try it again. I didn't like it last time I tried it. It took over too much of the computer. But then I don't like IE much better. They keep changing stuff on my computer. Altho I haven't had an intrusions with IE. Soo, maybe I wasn't using FF correctly. Will try it again.
