I don't have anything meaningful to add(so I probably shouldn't); but if you are someone who thinks that someone who types in all caps is deserving of correction or ridicule, then you have a much bigger problem than the person who types in all caps. Go back to Facebook and talk about what you're goi...

One of my brother's deputies is retiring to the Philippines (where his wife is from) next year. He can't take any guns, so he's selling them. He must really love his wife :-) This was his father's deer rifle. It must have been his only one, because it has been carried a lot. He had to have fallen on...

I'll take a closer look next time I'm in the shop. Still, the pronounced gap between lever and stock bothers me. Bent lever? Non-original? Ideas? I'd get an older 70 Series Colt or a new Series 70 Reproduction. Kimbers are swell guns, but like Hobie said, they'll never be a Colt. I'm not a Colt-snob, but Colts hold their value better than anything else, Series 70's better than the Series 80's. AndI just prefer 1911's without the extra safeties.

That's why the Government-types are trying so hard to get rid of God. If they get a majority of stupid voters to agree there's no God, then there surely can't be God-given rights that transcend man-made laws and privileges. It seems more and more that God is not amused, though.
