Hobie, Strictly speaking, they are turbochargers not superchargers. Turbochargers are driven by engine exhaust. Superchargers are driven directly by the engine. A Ruger Number 3 single shot in .22 Hornet re-chambered to K-Hornet makes a fine short to meduim varmint cartridge. And, I believe a falling block single shot qualifies as a levergun.

Have you considered making it a K-Hornet? A buddy of mine did just that and it worked out quite well. You can still shoot the standard Hornet cartridge in the K-Hornet chamber.
