I've finally found a .357 load I like. The max. load Hodgdon lists for H-110 and a 125 gr. JHP actually has enough thump to be interesting. Be sure to wear adequate hearing protection; that's my other gripe about .357's. They're too darned loud.

Yes , I think Handloader did it a couple years ago. They used pointy and round nose bullets in a magazine tube . Set off the first one trying to get a chain reaction . Forgot to mention; these foreign companies are continually changing hand and names; Ruger is located here, and I've yet to have to pay for any replacement parts from them. Also, when you get your guns, don't go fagging them up with a whole bunch of new parts just because some one weekend a year SASS...

And while practice, qualifying & cowboy mounted shooting is a "blank" experience, live ammo is another matter entirely; better be aware of EVERYTHING around ya. Whoa; I didn't know that. I thought in "Cowboy Action Shooting" they actually used live rounds, even for the horse...
