I can't imagine Mossburg not stepping up and getting these right. They have always turned out pretty good stuff. Maybe not great stuff, but functional stuff for the everyday Joe.

That's wonderful. A new one will be stiff, but some polishing will fix that up. I just don't think they make a better .22.........even compared to your old target shooter, you'll be surprised how accurate the Marlin is.

Cabelas does not seem to be the place to buy used guns.....They are real proud of them, IMO. The new ones seem to be close to what everyone else is getting for them.....

One thing: The jacketed will not shoot well with lead in the bbl, at least IMO. But, the worst it will shoot will be well within minute of deer, coyote, groundhog, pig or whatever needs shooting.....

If the Doc is patient with me and works with me to make sure we understand each other, I don't mind. Of course, having been in the Army 20 helps with this: If you can understand a New Yorker or that guy from JawJa, or the Koreans or Japanese, you got it made for understanding just about anyone.....

It's my observation that feral cats don't discourage the presence of other feral cats, they just continue to multiply if the enviroment has enough food to sustain the population. Get a can of tuna or any cat food, lace it with DeCon. Cats aren't smart enough to figure it out if you leave it overnig...

I got randomly searched at the Main Gate @ Ft. Lewis......Had my AirLite in my pocket......They only looked at the truck....more for bombs, I'd say, than firearms....... Whew!....I don't go to Ft Lewis anymore, in spite of the savings at the commissary and PX...some things are just more important.
