Don't think so, we were shooting semiauto slowfire. I did see him load a single round

Yep M2HB when it has to be stopped right now! The correct way to fire that thing is sitting on your but with your legs draped over the rear legs of the tripod. To sight it you just lean back until you can line up the sights adjust the T&E then sit back up and let fly. :D Thanks, next time I get...

OT - 50BMG and levers

Went to the range today despite the rain. Couple friends and bro setup and shot some rimfires, 7mag bolt, handguns, no pics. then more showed up and moved to another spot where we shot the 50BMG and I pulled out the 44Mag and 45-70 levers. we were busy shooting and didn't take hardly any pics except...

It's about time I posted again - Mic's 39A

I am the worst at taking pics. Thought I'd get a couple pics of the 39A I bought from Mic awhile ago as I took it out and shot it for the first time yesterday. Took it and the other OT rimfire rifle to the indoor range with some friends. Sights were dead on! Action was slicker than a greased pig. 20...

Found on another site, must read... First buck

By Mike Skelly Salem, NY Like most, as a young hunter I longed for my first buck. I didn't take a deer the first season despite numerous sightings. The deer were there. I just couldn't seem to get a clear shot. I saw only tails, or running deer instead of still deer offering their shoulders to me. A...

The 308 is an excellent choice. If you use a receiver sight it really doesn't matter. You aren't going to be making any long cross canyon shots so any lead free ammo will work. If you are really going to use that rifle for serious long range work you need a scope. Thanks Marc, I can't own a rifle w...
