Re: Stopping power, range, .38/.357 Rossi cowboy carbine
BTW, my idea of "defense" includes, say, some sort of breakdown of civil order, folks with mayhem on their minds who may be running through my backyard--up to around 100 yards or thereabouts, which at age 67 is about as far as my tri-focaled eyes are able to accurately calibrate. This is ...

The only kind of 'loose dogs' I actually like are the pairs of loose puppies you sometimes see at the beach... Hmmm... I've seen those. Definitely a problem. The only problem with those "puppies" is that I live too far away from the beach. Rob AJ might gave pics since he br...

I agree with you on the requirement aspect. For this same reason I find the miltary draft immoral. Yep. Involuntary Servitude. My interpretation of the 2nd Amendment, and one that others have expressed as well, is that "A well-regulated Militia being necessary to the security of a free State" we are actually REQUIRED as Militia members to own firearms. Now, I'm willing to compromise, here. If, philosophically, yo...

The point of the post was, as AJ mentioned, to turn the tables and let them see the double standard. Not so much against those who don't own guns (my best friend is Pro-2A but has no desire to own). The anti sect insists that guns only cause crime and require that public places be gun free. So why n...
