Re: An old experiment that I need to get back to
Well Scott make this your backup gun
I'll have to give these 250gr cast a closer look to see if they are a Keith or not. I got a shipping tote full of bullets, supplies, brass years ago from a widow. In it was a couple hundred of these as well as a bunch of 158s for 338/357.

I won't run anything as hot as that, my Special is on a Single Six frame . I don't want to chance this 1 of a kind blowing up. John Gallagher and I put it together while we were attending the gunsmith program at Trinidad St Jr College.

Re: An old experiment that I need to get back to
Kind of making me want to go shoot my Single Six Special! I have a bunch of 250 cast bullets but no Unique. I do have Universal which is just a tad slower. Though no data for it with 250s. You can use the same data as Unique. Start with 6 gr and work up if you feel the need. You may decide to stop ...

Chickens aren't that smart to begin with as we all know, I wouldn't think a bulb going out would be enough to make her leave the nest but that her instinct alone would be enough.
But what do I know, I don't eat chicken but ill eat their kids.

First pup was 529am, last at 919 am. 7 pups in all- less than 4 hours!
3 yellow 4 black, 3 girls 4boys.
They are setting up the puppy work web cam , as soon as the bugs are worked out I'll share the link.

I've got a PPC barrel floating around here for a mod 10, now if I could just find a donor to put it on.
Funny thing is I remember getting a model 10 and the PPC barrel but I have no idea where the revolver went... must have traded it off.

They are great rifles! I can remember shooting a friend's off sand bags hitting baby aspirin at 25 yards. I have one in the safe( a 572 also) and I really should take them out to play. The 552 has a floating chamber so S,L,LR can work and that's why the are so dirty. But the system works very well. ...

Sage does NOT like the after shocks, jumps up and starts barking which wakes Parker and Claro but they just go back to sleep.
