Like H110/W296 I think Lil'Gun is a max effort powder. Based on my experience with it I wouldn't use it for anything else. It should work in the .32-20, but we're talking loads that approach the .30 Carbine in performance.

You have to remember that the Lightning was designed around tapered cases, like the .44 WCF, not straight cases. I think that would help function. It didn't work well for me. Anneal, get the lube just so and then be disappointed. Bought .25-35 brass and was done with that problem. .30-30 worked better.
