Re: Medical Travel Insurance for Africa
I used to travel a lot when I was younger and the one thing I always did was get a phone on the British Telecom network. The Brits have deals with just about everyone and that phone worked everywhere I went. I wound up in rural Ukraine one time and the locals phones had no signal but my BT phone wor...

I installed a 20kW Onan back in 2005. It runs a Ford 2.5L inline four cylinder ... the one in just about every Ford Escort ever made. I run propane ... 250 gallon dedicated tank with a max fill of 200 gallons. I went with this unit because it was water cooled (quieter), runs at 1800 rpm instead of 3...

His latest video is pretty interesting. He's shooting an 1887 lever action shotgun converted with a rifled barrel to shoot something called the 70-150 WCF. That shotgun tube holds 5 rounds of that fat cartridge. I'm pretty sure it's not an original gun ... rather an Italian reproduction fitted with ...

I was hopeful that the new FX True Ballistic chronograph would become generally available but you really can't purchase one anywhere these days. It seems superior to the LabRadar in many respects. If this Garmin product it as good as the FX unit, I'll be in at $600. These radar based chronographs ar...

I've been doing the ultrasonic thing ... which is wet of course. A bit louder than I would like but it does clean well if you've got a heated tank and plenty of strong transducers to deliver the energy.

Looking forward to seeing the results. I think the 50/110 is a 2.4" case but it was originally loaded with that really short lead bullet that kept the OAL in range. As I recall, there were some relief cuts needed inside the receiver to allow it to maneuver through the loading gate.

I might not use a brass monolithic in it or anything with a tungsten core, but I would think lead or copper jacketed lead would yield to the steel and form fit the bore. Obturate, as they say.
