I've been drooling over a 336 in .35 here locally ,very nice shape for 349.00 plus all the extra stuff California adds on. Consider that the Savage is no longer made and prices will not go down.I would not be too slow about getting out my wallet if you want them.

I think you are safe using any projectile on the condors intill July 1,2008 after that they have to be unleaded! Also since pellet gun are not considered weapons you are safe there too! :shock:

41 leaves just one choice-marlin-who seems to slip from time to time on quality lately just mho.You have more choices with the other calibers and I would not rule out a 92 clone they are smooth.

You might like Aguila Colibri or Super Colibri they seem to function well in my 9422. Haven't tried them for accuracy but a friend told me the Super Colibri work great on cotton tail so they should be fairly accurate.

I put a leupold 2-7 on mine years ago and it is still there after 20 or so years never felt under powered.Only adjusted when I changed bullet weight.I'm mostly or was mostly a woods hunter though.
