I seem to remember the Maverick and the forerunner of the Pinto. The Pinto and the Chevy Vega could often be stopped by a large loogie spit in front of them. The compressed rust that those two cars were made of was amazing in how fast it would fall apart.

I grew up in Liberal, KS. Just as in Amarillo, TX, you do get "That Feeling" and you know it is happening. I think it is the sudden pressure change. Don't mess with a tornado.

Heavy for caliber bullets are often great for hunting. I have used a .270 on deer with the 130 grain bullets and it was great. For anything larger, I would go with 150 grain premium bullets just for the extra penetration. My particular Remington 700 likes both weight bullets, but the 150 grain ones ...

Each and every one of those knives would be right at home in a deer camp. I am often amazed at the way some people have the talent for turning steel and wood into useful pieces of art. A little bit of work can turn steel into a useful knife, but it takes talent to make it a work of art.

For those who have never jumped, Paladin did all that in about 45 seconds. I timed it once from door to popping the release on my right shoulder, and it was 45 seconds. I did have someone run across the top of my canopy once. That will get you to pucker factor 10 in about half a heartbeat.

That is why I really want a carbine chambered in .327 Magnum. Too bad it is not really an option without having a lot of expense to convert something.
