Re: 94 parts swappin'
Winchesters 94 AE post 1982 all steel receivers are good shooters! At least the two that I once owned. I'm sorry Six, but my twin globes are just as important as some rifle's! I much rather have a scratch in a 94 stock than lose lefty in a freak fall! With a rare vintage 86, it's a tossup! I'm seein...

I stopped by my local shop this afternoon. They had 15 different brands of 308 ammo, along with overpriced 9mm. 500 round boxes of Winchester 22 cal. for $45.00 bucks!! Wow! They had a few nice S&W in stock including a nice 17-4 with I think was a 6-inch barrel for $725.00. I had to walk away wi...

Re: Where have all the Rossis gone?
My local shop had a 92 Rossi on the shelf last week. Stainless 92, pre safety in 45 Colt for $750.00! Condition was very good. One year ago, they were in the 400 range. Personally, I'll stick with Winchesters and Marlins. If Rossi 92 are that high, what will a pre safety Marlin or pre 64 Winchester ...

Welcome to the forum! That's a good looking 94. I found a 1937 model this past summer. Mine is a 32 spl. The following week my shop had a 1941 94 in 30-30. Unfortunately, I had to pay for a S&W I had on a 60-day hold! It still ticks me off that I didn't get the 1941 Winchester. Good luck with th...

I checked out a new King Cobra last month. I think they wanted $850.00.
It felt pretty good in my hand.
If I didn't see the mint 1967 S&W model 10-5 behind the glass, I probably would have picked up the Colt.

Up here in Maine we have next to nothing on the shelves!
5.56 along with pricey 308 seems to be the only ammo that's regularly on the shelves.
Some cheap no name brand in 9mm for $23.99 a box of 50.
The factories are pumping out millions of rounds a day!
