the Navy men i know aint Seals the PD i shoot at are fairly safe at 300 yds & if the wind is 30 mph there very safe Elk all under 200 yds to maybe 50yd, one at max 300yd I know its not sporting to shoot anything under 600yd & standing this is the one I like, 600yd & running flat out held...

where i came from we would call that a stump pull
but most of the time just a bunch of cussing yourself out, the stump pull is a prelude to a barber chair, cuz you you aint cutting as the tree is falling, each tree is different & hardwood is way more dangerous
than softwood IMHO

my rossi is used for home deffence now, the stock warped so bad i
now can shoot around corners
no its not quite that bad but it did walk bout 3/4s of a inch
a tang site helped that a lot, short of a new rear stock anybody

Docs pix is the way i see the sight also, i let that bother me til i took it off, then tried it on a 94 that wasnt D&T, well it was still blurry then it dawned on me to focus on the target & where the front sight is, that works much better, it took this block head awhile, but i like it now, ...

have a 63 Win. thats ringed, was kinda blue the first time i cleaned it & found the loose spot half way down, but took it out & shot the heck outta her, it shoots as well as any 22 ive ever had

the greys are neat, when i lived in Wis. id go out calling preadators
often the greys were the first & only to show up, had one run over
my legs at bout 40mph one time, that sure nuff warmed me up
when i lived there they use to have 40 below & measure snow in feet
