I shoot Oregon Trail's Lasercast bullets in my 32-20 Marlin, 115 grain flat nose works great on metallic silhouette animals. Ran out a few days ago and was worried about supply but went to their website and was able to order up a thousand, which will last me a while. With shipping, a little over 10 ...

After being in the house for two weeks with the crud, I finally managed to stagger out to my club's weekly levergun silhouette match this morning. Shot my Rossi .357 again, it has a fine trigger and super smooth action , I really like shooting it, the 24" barrel makes is easier to hold. Wind ou...

Look at the top of the receiver on the inside. There should be a flat narrow leaf type spring that is the cartridge guide in the inside top. A single screw through the top holds it in place, and they occasionally break over many years. If it has broken it's likely the culprit. Easy to fix, and easy...

See if you can find a Civil War reenactment group or forum, they are sticklers for authentic and might be able to find you drawings and specs so you can get one made, or maybe just buy one from a supplier.

When I was shooting IHMSA, I shot thousands of rounds of .44 Mag through a Ruger revolver, experimented with different powders and found Blue Dot to be the most accurate while delivering plenty of "oomph" to knock down the Rams. I use it today in my 44-40 for Pistol Caliber Lever Action si...
