I don't think the bison calf "had" to be put down. I think those that made the decision to put the calf down were a bunch of F---------ng morons(pardon my language). I am sure that there was someone with a bison ranch or a native american tribe that would have taken that calf and bottle fe...

Rebarreling a Rossi 92

Just wondering what it might cost and the difficulties to rebarrel a Rossi 92. Its currently in 44-40 caliber, but thinking of changing it to 38-40.

Any idea of what the thread size is on the barrel shank?

I had JES rebore a Marlin xlr 30-30 and turn it into a 356. It works also with 308 win brass opened up to 358. Ejects fine. Factory 356win ammo is just a bit sticky as Jesse said it would be.

I am sure your AR10 will handle load that are to Nato specs. I would have a way to identify those loads so you won't use them in your BLR. I too, am waiting on a barrel for my AR10, in 358 win.

I think buying as an investment, where you are going to hold onto it and probably sell it at a later date would not be construed as "engaged in the business". Buying the gun to turn it around right now, and doing this many, many times in the year, probably be different. You buy and sell a ...

May all hinge on "intent". If you are planning on buying them to re-sell and make a profit, then you might be considered to be "engaged in the business" and would be looked upon as needing an FFL If you are buying them to use later, or as gifts later, and just happen to sell a co...

I often carry a 21A in 22lr. It shoots the Remington bulk pack(20yr old) just fine and the newer CCI mini-mags. The federal bulk packs don't work. Tried a bunch of ammo to find a few brands that work 100%. If you get the 22lr, I would suggest doing just that. Check out the Tomcat too.

My 357max rifle, a 357mag Ruger #1 rechambered to max, likes the heavier bullets. Its favorite so far is a 235gr cast bullet. Lightest I have shot is 158gr at nearly 2600fps and up to a 260gr that shot pretty well. The heavier bullets prefer WW680 and the lighter 2400 and 4227.
