Yard hydrants are quite useful, but a necklace is likely cheaper. I installed two here on the farm, back when we built the house in 02'. WI now requires an anti-siphon device on hydrants because some moron in this state spilled diesel or something similar around his hydrants and apparently contamina...

Kimber Revolvers
Anyone here familiar with Kimber DA revolvers ? Was browsing a handgun case full of revolvers and noticed a neat little 3" Kimber 357. About the same size as Ruger SP101 3" and fit it my hand quite well. Quality seemed very good.

I have no first hand knowledge of Remlins, however - I've read where the later ones were made quite well.....way better than the early years of Remington ownership.

Well, if Ruger Marlin eventually builds their reintroduced Model 336 in 35 Rem, I will likely crack for one. 35 Rem ammunition is pretty hard to find (unobtainium) these days. Thankfully I reload and I do come across 35 Rem brass here and there.

I had several skunks burrow in under my front porch 6+ years ago. Used live traps, tarps and canned cat food......trapped them and dispatched them. Not much fun, but was mentored by ADC trapper friends.

Thanks for posting Mike, I've handled a Savage 219 rifle and they're a sweet addition to any 220.
I've been looking for a 20 ga (220) forever and I learned last year Savage made a small number in 28 gauge. Either of these would be a "grail gun".

410 prices have gone nuts in the last two years (actually they've always been disproportionately more $ than other gauges, like 20 ga, etc).
