I've got some SilverTips in 170 GR a friend gave me long ago, 3.29 on the tag. As a kid in 1962 I got .348 's for 6.95 a box. That 63 loaded Impala for 3100 bucks looks good now too.

I am a supplier to a Russel Stover Candy plant. Often, they have complimentary boxes of reject candy, some little flaw that hurts nothing but looks, and I get a pound of it or so. Not good for the waistline, but sure good chocolate.

My hands are about shot from 42 years of holding a steering wheel and shifting 2 four speeds for years. I can relate my friend, but I tend to lan towards the DSMO before putting those aspirin type chemicals in my gut.

When the BR. 86's were introduced, the first ones were delivered in 1986. I got the long gun after a 1 year wait and some money tied up on deposit, paid $479.00. I believe it was 1989 that I got the SRC, NIB too, paid $675.00. Seems cheap now. But I would hand over both those rifles for a color job ...
