Browning 1886 sporting rifle
I just took delivery of a browning 1886 sporting rifle today and I’m more than pleased. It is in as new condition with a few minor safe rubs to the stock with the metal being 100%,I doubt if it has had more than a box put through it. I had been looking recently for a new deer rifle and had decided on...

Uberti courteney selous stalking rifle
I saw one of the new Uberti courteney selous rifles today and though they are kind of butt ugly they might make a good deer rifle especially the new ones chambered for 45/70.After looking at the gun it started me thinking that a ruger no 1 with a properly done prince of Wales grip would look real ni...

Re: Uberti 94 sporting rifle
I just adopted the Cimarron/Uberti 94 in .38-55, with 26-inch octagon barrel. I may have a chance to shoot it today and will report. The action is extremely smooth, the hammer simply floats like butter to half cock and full cock and the trigger break is wonderfully clean. I am quite impressed at th...

I have a couple of tang sights that were sold by C Sharps arms years ago ,they are similar to the Lyman tang sights but are more robust and better quality. I believe it was a trainer/target rifle I believe ,probably used more for a trainer as being made in 1943 probably not much target shooting going on and the sights are similar to what you would find on a Mauser 98.Also the nazis banned most private ownership of firearms so chances are it played a pa...
