There must be a lot more 8s out there than we thought if all of these venues are having events. That's cool! An event will get 10-18 entrants typically . While that may not sound like a lot the 24 and 32 gauge events get perhaps 2-6 entrants in each gauge . The fellow that owns Rock Mountain owns o...

If I go thru with putting a pad on it should clean up quite a bit of the chip and I’m sure Mr. Patton can address what’s left no problem . The drop doesn’t feel as...

For the last 18 months I’d refrained from buying any guns to keep and had just a few that were cheap enough to turn a dollar on . Sporty for sure ! The guns built on an 0 frame , the first Parker 28’s were all built on 0 frames they didn’t start with the 00 frame until they’d been making 28’s for several years . The little VH 28 I had was on an 0 frame and if memory serves made in 1904 or 1906 . Jacque’s in Ohio has a very ver...

I think most owners have found that a good old proven flat point bullet shoots well, and kills well on game. Plus OAL to cycle through the action is never an issue with a flat point bullet. I tried the Leverevolution ammo in the 30-30 to 450 Marlin and all did well enough on paper and deer . But I’...

For a shoot like that I'd either want a heavy ( trap gun) or a gas operated semi. The Benelli is using up energy in the bolt cycle that would otherwise be hitting your shoulder. Those shoots would be a real gain if a guy was ambidextrous - even out the hurt! Yeah the Beretta 680 series guns just do...
