I had a pair of Marlin 375’s one was jacketed only and the other was cast only . Two inches at 100 yards for three shots from the bench was not difficult with handloads in either , atleast in those two rifles . Don’t think I ever fired any factory in either rifle . My gunsmith buddy and I were thinking about getting a walk in cooler thing to put outside of his butchering room . This was back when we’d damage control hunt in the hot months . Anytime I shoot /shot a buck he would go into the grinder sans backstraps. Most of the does would go for actual cuts.
