Who to work on a '73

Have one of the new Miroku Winchester '73's and I really hate the trigger flopping around when the gun is cocked. Can it be changed to make it more like the origional '73's?
Thanks

1895 Saddle ring carbine at lgs!!

Thought it was one of the Browning repros, but it appears to be an origional gun. Checkered Forearm and buttstock. In about 98-99% condition. in 30-40 Krag. I made some mention about it being refinished, but he said "nope", factory condition!! I was afraid to take it off the shelf and look at it :D

It says non-mecuric primers, so when did they come into use? Weren't all primers corrosive until the early 50's?

Hope they bring out a line of cartridges based on the 338 ME round. At least maybe a 7mm ME!! Almost would be like a rimmed 284Win.

Re: Panic Buying

Don't blame him for the one box rule, otherwise one person would buy all of it. Store here got two cases in , of 9mm, and someone tried to buy all of it. One store keeps one box of ammo for each pistol, if they can. That way, when someone buys a gun, they can get at least some ammo for it.

Had the Fanner 50 also, a pair of them. Remember a cap gun that used the roll caps. Looked like a Tommy gun and you pulled a spring loaded post to cock it and the gun would run thru about a 1/3 of a roll of caps right quick. Got dirty pretty quick and didn't work for very long.

It dates to 1902. Barrel is marked 38 Colt. Don't remember if it was an original 38 Colt barrel, but suspect it is a 38 spcl barrel that has been re-marked as I imagine that origional 38 Colt barrels were not available at that time.
