Scored 4 boxes of the same Silvertip stuff about a year ago, for a friend of mine. should last him the rest of his life too. He was down to his last box and I just happened to walk into a store that had just gotten it in.

Since you are familiar with the 686 series, I would just go with either a 4" or 6" version. I have had, in the past, all three barrel lengths but sold the 4". If they made a 5" version, that would be perfect.

I also cheat and use Williams chili mix. I use extra. 10 lbs meat and mix for 12-13 lbs of meat. Just gives it a stronger flavor. But I add lots of onion, garlic, pepper, crushed tomato's and a half to full bottle of hot ketchup. I usually make at least 10 lbs at a time. Oh, for flavor, I also add s...

Drain oil/water and fill with fresh oil and a new filter. Pull plugs and turn over engine to get rid of water. Fill cylinders with 0-20 synthetic oil and let sit overnight. Change oil and filter again. Turn over engine to blow out the lightweight oil. Might be OK after that, but might not. 24 hours ...

You do not have to segregate cases if you flare one vs no flare. Case will conform to chamber dimension once fired. You will need to crimp the case a bit to remove the flare. Make sure your cases are trimmed so you will have an even crimp. Don't overdo the crimp either.
