Re: 1913 Winchester 1894 32-40 lever action
I find it interesting that so many half-magazine rifles ended up in Oz. Several years ago I had the opportunity to look over an on-line catalog from a dealer "down under", and over half of the Winchesters he had were rifles with half-magazines. Was there some sort of restriction on magazin...

Re: M1 carbine and cartridge
Bought some Korean ammo once that was supposed to be non-corrosive . Should have cleaned it. gun rusted up terrible and pitted the barrel inside some. Scrubbed and JB bore pasted. Edges of the grooves are dark but the rifling is still strong and it didn't seem to hurt accuracy. Bob I've owned a num...

Re: 38-55 & venison
Does your barrel guy rebore the original barrel, or does he make a new barrel altogether?
What vintage is your 94 Winchester?
And finally, what does he charge for a job like this?
Thanks!

Re: I'm done! Collection complete!
How about the Browning (Miroku) B-92? That's without a doubt the best of the Winchester 1892 clones. Get one. They were made in .357 and .44 Mag, and their quality is nothing short of astounding. Browning also made an incredible copy of the 1886 Winchester in 45-70. They were made in 2 styles: a sad...

Re: Marlin 1894 .357 Mag Situational Reportage
Back in the 1970s, Browning came out with a copy of the 1892 Winchester saddle-ring carbine that they called the B92. It was chambered in 44 magnum and also in 357. I had one of the 44s, but didn't care much for the recoil, which in a light gun like that, was fairly brutal. I recently picked up one ...

Re: Sellers remorse
B92 in .357 Mag. Back in 1986 the company I worked for went under, and I had to sell some of my guns to keep up with the mortgage and other bills. One of the guns I sold was a Browning B92 in .357, which I sold to the former sheriff here who is now deceased. About 2 months ago, a young fellow came ...
