I have the same problem, not quite that Gray yet. I remember swimming as a kid, every time my head came out of the water I had to shake my hair out of my eyes. Those days are long gone!

I agree with Hobie on this one. Hopefully you get a good deal on the rifle, but don't do the deed because of the scope. Leupold does have a lifetime warranty, but It will cost a minimum of 100.00 for them to just look at it anymore. After all my blabbing it may not even be a Leupold.

I know a guy who purchased a .325 short mag in a BLR, he had the rifle a month. Said it had a bit too much muzzle jump.

From what I read in the hunting magazines the barrels on the short mags do not last long either.

Congratulations! on the new rifle. I may be way in the cold on this one, but I don't recall anyone posting any pet loads for this caliber. A good friend of mine has an older 336, and just loves it. He swears there's no tracking needed. He shoots factory loads.

Nice report! You are right at what I like to call the "FUN" stage of owning a rifle, and that is finding a pet load. Hang in there, your getting close. Better weather will help also.

I love the Patriot colors on the Cricket's stock. Is the rifle a single shot? My Grandfather always had a single shot .22 on hand at the cabin until someone broke in and stole it back in the late 70's. Never replaced it, but after seeing yours I would like to do so.
