Stainless Steel

Stainless gets scratched up pretty easy. Anyone had any luck getting rid of scratches. Blueing is easy to touch up.

Two weeks ago I picked up a new Ruger 22 single six. I have put over eight hundred 22 LR through it and am quite happy with it. I have not tried the 22 mag cylinder and probably never will. From what I understand they are bored for the 22 mag which is .224 and the 22LR is .223 which has caused some ...

The length of the barrel does not make a gun more accurate. The length of the barrel makes it easier to sight. Nothing is set in stone that you will always shoot a longer barrel more accurately than one that is shorter.

I shoot SASS. And earlier asked the question about the ejector since mine broke. Quite a few commented that they had replaced it and that they carry a spare just in case. You figure SASS people put a lot more rounds through their Marlin than the average person.

Don't know if its true or not but on more than one instance I have heard from articles and TV that its not the people they are after but the dog that is with the people. The dog, to them, is fair game for dinner.

I called them direct. I asked them about the gunsmith thing and was told that it is a drop in and the gunsmith thing is just incase there is a slight difference in your gun. I bought it to relace the on in my Marlin 32, it droped right in. It was as you say a tad stiffer so I put it in my 95 It also...

You pay good money for somthing you should get what you paid for. Ruger has no problem with making it right. Its their reputation that is on the line. Kentucky windage is not the way to go, the farther the distance the worse it will get.

One of my 32s shot to the right and both shot low. I use 115gr Oregon Trail to raise the point of impact. To change the windage the barrel must be twisted. I shot a group and then sent the Ruger back with the test target. It took Ruger two times to get the windage correct. They did not charge me it ...

You might look at the Ruger SP101 in 32 H&R mag. Or wait until the SP101 is out in 327. I have several 32 H&R Mags. low recoil quick recovery and very accurate. My reloads run an 85gr. hollow point at better than 1200fps from a 3" barrel.

I cringe every time I hear about headshots it always makes me wonder how many were wounded, jaw broke ect. and ran off to die a less than what huners would call a humane death. I have found deer and other animals that have passed on in this manner. And yes I hunt and probably longer than some on thi...
