It's not corrosive because it's non-corrosive just like smokeless powder. The clean-up is done with Hoppe's #9 just like smokeless powder. It's expensive but the fact that I don't have to clean the same day I shoot is a plus. It's very hard to light and I wouldn't try it in a traditional muzzleloade...

The 50-110 is best fired with blackpowder. It's just too big for smokeless.

One of the few scopes that will handle the .500S&W Handis recoil is the Nikon Prostaff 2-7X32. They are inexpensive on eBay. Peeps are ok for paper but don't work well in the woods.
