Reminds me of a buddy that was an Army Drill Instructor. To paraphrase him, Take 1 sheet of TP, fold it corner to corner, then again into a triangle. Black Friday ( Sunday) spending
The REAL NEWS station, Fox, just had a quick thing on about NCIS for this past Sunday, the 27th.
They didn't say dollars spent but they said it was a record for daily back ground checks at 185,000+ checks!
Looks like Mr Trump IS making America Great Again!!!

Not sure on the 340 mag, haven't looked into it enough. But I'll look into that, thanks!
This Winchester was given to me, guy didn't remember what why or where the bolt went. I think it makes number 13 or 14 22 rifles I have, not a high priority.

WMR is no slouch! More then enough gun for more then people think. Even LR will take deer-IF you hit em right. I have a 10/22 mag, put a carbon wrap barrel on it and a hogue over mould stock. I'm not overly fond of tight chokes in field guns. I shoot skeet/ mod in my Red Label 28. Good to 35 yards with skeet- the pheasants don't usually get quite that far... especially with my Hevishot reloads! The Nosler BTs in the big caliber so are great deer bullets, if memory serves, under .257/85 grains are VARMINT bullets. Match bullets tend to have very thin jackets( or used to). If I knew I could get a head shot I would feel comfortable with it but I don't think I would use that bullet for a body shot. It could blow up as a flesh wound or act like a FMJ... Nosler 60 gr partition, the GMX, Fusion or a Barnes monolith...

Years ago I knew an AR7 that was ' worked' if your trigger finger was a little too heavy it would double, triple or dump the whole mag at once!
Seems to me this Henry in question probably has a bad barrel/ receiver lock up.
No doubt Henry will rectify it in no time at all!

I'm sure a handy guy could find led's online and rig something up for less then retail, of course Murphy would probably show up and cause all kinds of havoc like a wire breaking and a stray spark setting fire to powder! Might be worth the $35 !
