Keep a close eye on him, rabies, distemper or even mange can cause behavior changes. A ' normal' fox shouldn't act that way, but it's possible he has been habituated to people. Keep an eye on your dog!

So I'm trying to track down a firing pin for a Remington 700 ML. BROWNELLS, nope, GUN PARTS, nada, JACK FIRST, no gots. I called Remington to try to figure out if it's just a short action 700 FP, no it's proprietary to the 700 ML. The gent at Remington said I should look at Midway, not there either....

I keep a 3 D cell maglite in door pocket, if I need it there is always a claw hammer in the bed, or the axe under the back seat. Or the cordless sawzall, 175' of extension cord to tie up a perp!
Of course if I lived in the real world my 40 would be on my hip and my Benelli slung over the seat back...

So that's a REAL knuckle buster!
Having one of those in door pocket of the truck could be handy, not only for tightening stuff but real good for self defense. The fingers for poking and the added mass for ' punching'!

I too have an UGLY, it's an Ithaca single shot lever break 12 ga. It was a rusty neglected hulk when I got it. Although I use Krylon as it dries faster!

Yeah I have some hearing loss, right ear is better then left. Doc held his watch to left ear & I couldn't hear it, right side I could hear it even though that's the ear with the issue. That confused doc... I told him that since I was a competitive shooter and right handed the left ear takes more...

I recently spoke with Nosler,Sierra and Hornady.
Load I worked up for my 41 out of my Big Boy has 210's at about 1800. Both Nosler and Sierra say that velocity range is kosher, Hornady says thats too fast. so the XTPs are for my Blackhawk.

Years ago a buddy of mine used a 1911 ( I built) on hogs. He used mil surplus 230 fmj. At approximately 15 yards, that bullet did NOT make it into the engine room. Was it the gun? I believe that Ballistic Products sells NEW brass in all gauges,
I was given a 12 with Parker head stamp, have no idea about worth but it's for my collection.
You might find some listed on the auction sites, could give ball park.

Had a guy in a Maine deer camp many moons ago that couldn't afford to scope for his Marlin so he duct taped a pair of bino's to the top of the receiver! That's about the lowest mount I've ever seen.

When I woke up this morning it was a balmy 11 F, by the time I left for work it had dropped to 9. I don't think it got much above 20 here in NJ today. Snow forecasted tonight/tomorrow.
