Re: Do Red Squirrels Like Pine Cones??? (Especially when served on boats...)
I was in a tree stand years ago, a red was bringing pine cones and stashing them in a hollow log. Along comes a grey and takes a cone out. Eventually they met as the grey was in the log. The sounds they were making would curdle your blood! Of course I was laughing so hard and loud my buddies could h...

Well I ordered a Weaver side mount base and ring set this morning, figure if I buy this gun it's cheaper to go that way than get a stock, front and rear sites to get it shooting. Of course the scope will also allow me to wring out it's potential accuracy. I might even request info from the Cody Muse...

I still say more people like all of us should be hounding Ruger, Henry, Browning, and now S&W for the -20 cartridges! Then if more folks found the joys of 25-20 & 32-20 , heck even the -40s , more ammo and brass would be produced.

I only got 1 from an auction site, I was the only bid. I once watched an auction for a 2wt fly rod, a couple days and the high bid was still way low of the reserve, 150 bucks I think. I hit the buy now for I knew it was worth more than 150 and I wanted it. The only and only time I've used ' fleabay' .

That's what my 410 is as well. The factory never de-burred the trigger plate, when I got it it had 11 and 11¹/² pound trigger pulls! Straight or pistol on the rolling blocks are both pleasing to my eye. The pistol grip isn't really a pistol grip as the angle of the grip doesn't have a huge change, its just a straight grip with a lump of wood below your pinky. That lump has character if shaped correctly.

In 410 aluminum should not be an issue, 10-12,000 psi aluminum can easily contain. Not to mention the thin walls of the rec...
