Re: 32 WS leverevolution ?
I've shot half a box of this ammo also and had no extraction issues.
It does seem to have a bit more pop(felt recoil)than other factory ammo.It also shoots about 3" high at 50 yds. with rear sight bottomed out.

Re: OT- Case cleaning/prep
I use the hornady unique case lube. This lube works good, smells good and one tub of it will last a life time( a little goes a long way). The sized and lubed cases go into a lyman dri-polisher(tumbler/vibrate) filled with crushed walnut shell.A couple of hours in the tumbler and the cases are dry of l...

How much are you guys paying for the Leverevolutions in .32WS? Please specify mail order or local and where. The local gun shop here, which is in the next town, is a highway robber. Thanks Also $22-$24 around here(except at Gander Mountain, really high$). MidwayUSA - $20.99 when they have them. 30-3...

Re: Levergun cartridges on life-support
My cars front tires have out-lived its usefulness.
A dried up pen has out-lived its usefulness.
A dead battery has out-lived its usefulness.
How can my rifle/cartridge that gives hours of fun at the range,go afield to bag game and stand ready for home duty be said to have out-lived its usefulness?

Any Levergunners here seen these on the shelves yet? Local dealers here are not sure when they will get them.I see Midway expects them at the end of August.I do handload for my .32 but I may try a box to see what the fuss is all about. Re: Can you/do you hunt with your leverguns?
I can and do hunt with my levergun in the northern tier of New York.I find myself in heavily wooded areas and shots would be under 8o yds.100yd shots would be my limit with my eyes and open sights. I live in the southern tier where rifle use is limited to certain areas but is starting to expand.I ca...

Re: 32-40 bullet ?
Duff, I don,t load for the .32-40 but I've read that there may be COL issues using the Hornady 170gr.JFP due to cannelure position. The Speer 170gr.bullet will work fine. There is a good article in a past issue of Handloader Magazine(FEB 2007 No.245)about the .32-40.
