I have been using the same Wilson trimmer since 1959 with zero problems. There are no pilots but there are shell holders. The holders often fit multiple cases based in the same case. I use the same holder for 243,308, 270 and 30-06.

In Texas your CHL will show up with a DL check but not a plate check. Having a CHL is the closest things to having a certificate of good character there is in Texas. It doesn't upset cops as anybody can have a gun in their car down here. They relax a little when they know you have a CHL.

I dont think I would just Rig it and put it in the safe, if I didn't want to sell it down river. I would save my nickles and dimes and have it rebarreled with a premium barrel and a correct chamber. ATF has been known to make up regs on the fly. They can't seem to do anything down here, but increase the flow of guns to the Mexican drug thugs, so I guess they need something to justify their time and salary.

My Glock 17 is stuffed with Remington +P Golden Saber ammo. There is lots of good 9mm ammo out there these days. Not enough difference in any of it, to compensate for a bad hit. With a good hit, they will all do the same thing.
