My GP100 measures 1.608”, while my RBH measures 1.640”. Both are 357 Mag.

Check out aniline dyes. They come in powder and liquid form and can be mixed with water or alcohol. You can also mix them for the “perfect” color.

Something to consider: check to see if there's enough room to install them up front in the first place. Second and third generation Toyota Tacomas cannot accept chains on the front wheels due to insufficient clearance between the tire and the upper control arm. Your manual should tell you.

For almost everything I need a knife for, a 3.5" to 4.5" drop point has proven to be ideal. Anything more than 5" is unwieldy to me for more delicate tasks.

Interesting. I made something very similar by putting a clip point on a 10" Bellotto machete and slightly reshaping the handle. The Bellotto is only 75% or so as thick as the condor.
